Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your safari guide will pick you up from Entebbe or Kampala early in the morning for a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda.

Enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, local villages, tea plantations, and terraced landscapes along the journey. You will make a stop at the Equator crossing for photos and refreshments before continuing through the stunning countryside.

Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers about gorilla trekking guidelines.

Begin your trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

Once located, spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants up close is an emotional and unforgettable wildlife experience.

After trekking, return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe or Kampala

Enjoy breakfast before starting your return journey to Entebbe or Kampala. Along the way, admire Uganda’s beautiful countryside and local communities.
