Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Visit Top of the Falls

Your safari begins early in the morning with pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe by your professional safari guide.

Begin the scenic drive north toward Murchison Falls National Park passing through beautiful countryside landscapes, local villages, and rolling farmlands.

En route, enjoy a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience on foot, offering the opportunity to encounter white rhinos in their natural habitat.

Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls where you will witness the dramatic power of the Nile River squeezing through a narrow gorge before crashing into the river below.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a sunrise game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park.

Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, warthogs, and numerous bird species across the open savannah.

Murchison Falls is one of Uganda’s richest wildlife destinations and offers excellent game viewing opportunities throughout the year.

After lunch and relaxation, enjoy an unforgettable boat cruise along the River Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls.

Along the riverbanks, expect close sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of water birds while enjoying spectacular scenery.

The boat cruise also offers incredible views of the falls from the bottom of the gorge.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
